2 lb. bag frozen hashbrowns (thawed)
8 oz. sour cream
1 stick butter (sliced thin)
1 cup onions (diced – not cooked)
16 oz. shredded cheese (8 oz. mixed in – 8 oz. on top)
Salt/pepper to tast
Diced green chilies (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sour cream, onions, 1/2 cheese (8 oz.), salt/pepper, and green chilies. Add thawed hashbrowns. Spread mixture in 9x13 pan. Place butter slices on top (spread out evenly). Top with remainder of cheese (8 oz.). Bake 1-1 1/2 hours at 350 degrees.
