4 pork chops, approx. 4 oz. each
Salt and Black Pepper
2 Tbsp. olive oil
14 oz. sauerkraut
¼ onion, sliced thin
½ small apple, peeled and chopped
1 tsp. dried parsley flakes
¼ tsp. celery seed
¼ c. beer

Directions:
Directions:
Sprinkle pork chops with salt and pepper, to taste. Heat olive oil in a skillet and brown pork chops on both sides. Set aside. Rinse and drain sauerkraut, pressing excess liquid out. Mix sauerkraut, oil, apple, parsley flakes and celery seed together. Put pork chops in a baking dish, cover with sauerkraut. Pour beer and drippings from skillet over top. Cover tightly and bake at 350º for 90 minutes.
