Ingredients:  
Bake 450 degrees for 15 minutes then reduce to 350 degrees for another 15 minutes
12 apples peeled and cored...I like Cortland apples for my pie
1-1/2 cups of sugar
¼ cup of flour
3 tablespoons of cinnamon
2 tablespoons of butter
1 tablespoon of sugar in the raw
1 egg white beaten with a little water
2 crust pie dough (in the recipe book)

Directions:
Directions:
Peel and core apples then slice
Mix sugar, cinnamon, and flour in a bowl then pour over apples and blend.
Coat bottom of pie shell with egg white then place apples in shell.
Dollop the apples with 2 tablespoons of butter.
Place dough over top of pie cut to fit then flute edges of pie shell.
Coat top of pie shell with egg white wash and sprinkle with sugar in the raw.
Use excess dough to cut out leaves score lines for veins with knife and place 3 leaves on center of pie
Crust. Use egg wash to attach to pie shell and sprinkle with sugar in the raw. Bake in oven.
Slit top of pie crust to vent.
A masterpiece when finished….
