25 cups of popcorn from about 1 cup of kernels

4 cups of whole macadamia nuts (toasted in oven) about lib

1-1/4 cups of packed brown sugar

5 tablespoons of light corn syrup

10 tablespoons (1-1/4 sticks of butter

1-1/4 teaspoons of coarse salt (sea salt)

1 teaspoon of baking soda

Directions:
Preheat oven to 200 degrees. Put popcorn in a large bowl. Add the toasted nuts: set aside. Put sugar, corn syrup, butter, and salt in a medium sauce pan. Cook over medium heat till mixture comes to a gentle simmer, about 4 minutes. Stop stirring continue to cook till mixture lightens in color about 5 minutes or more. Remove from heat and stir in baking soda.

Pour sugar mixture over popcorn and nuts, toss to coat. Transfer to rimmed baking sheets and bake in oven 200 degrees stirring every 20 minutes until-almost dry about 1 hour. Let cool on baking sheets on wire racks. Put in clear bags decorate with ribbons.
Can’t stop eating this popcorn it is so good.
