Ingredients:
4 egg yolks
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup sweetened condensed milk
1/4 tsp almond extract
1 1/2 cups golden rum

Directions:
Directions:
With electric mixer, beat egg yolks and sugar until very thick and pale yellow. Beat in condensed milk and extract until well blended. Stir in rum and then strain mixture through 1 layer of cheesecloth into a clean 1-quart canning jar. Cover with plastic wrap and screw on cap. Store in refrigerator and shake every few days for two weeks or until liquid no longer separates. Then let it sit for several weeks in the refrigerator; the longer it ages, the creamier and more mellow it becomes, up to eight months. To give as a gift, pour the liqueur into an attractive clean bottle and cap tightly.
