Pastry for 9 inch pie crust
12 slices Bacon, crisply fried and crumbled
1 C. shredded Swiss Cheese
1/3 C. Minced Onion, optional
4 Eggs
2 C. Heavy Whipping Cream or Evaporated Milk
3//4 tsp. Salt
1/4 tsp. Sugar
1/8 tsp. Cayenne Pepper

Preheat oven to 425.º
Place prepared pastry into a 9 inch pie pan.
Sprinkle bacon, cheese and onion in the pastry lined pie pan.
In a bowl, beat eggs slightly. Beat in whipping cream, salt, sugar and cayenne pepper until well mixed. Pour mixture into pie pan.
Bake for 15 minutes, then reduce heat to 300º and bake for an additional 30 minutes, or until knife inserted in the middle comes out clean. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting.
