2-12 oz pkgs frozen hash browns
2 cups of sour cream
1 Tablespoon of minced onions
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup melted butter
1 tsp. salt
1 can cream of chicken soup
2 cups of crushed corn-flakes, mixed with 1/4 cup melted butter

Directions:
Directions:
Place hash browns in colander, let stand until completely thawed and moisture has drained off (appox. 12 hours). Combine sour cream, soup and butter, mix well. Add salt, onions and cheese, mix well. Blend in hash browns. Place mixture in casserole dish. Sprinkle buttered cornflakes on top. Bake uncovered at 350º for 50 min. until golden brown.
