3 Cups Sugar
1 Cup Shortening
2 Cups Sour milk or Butter Milk
1 Teaspoon Salt
1 Teaspoon Nutmeg
1/2 Teaspoon Vanilla
1 1/2 Teaspoons Baking Powder
Flour
Directions:
Directions:
1. Combine ingredients adding enough flour so that you can roll the dough
2. Roll dough to 1/4 inch thickness
3. cut circles
4. Bake at 350' until cookies are just barely brown
5. After baking use sugar topping of icing
6. (No eggs are in the Recipe)
