1/4 pound butter
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup whiskey
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
3 egg yolks (save whites)
1 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 package raisins
2 cups walnuts
1 pound candied pineapple
2 cups pecan
1 pound crystallized cherries

Directions:
Directions:
1. mix butter, sugar, whiskey, vanilla and eggs
2. mix and add to above flour, salt, baking powder and nutmeg
3. beat egg whites until stiff and fold in
4. take raisins, walnuts, pineapple and cherries and roll in 2 tablespoons flour and
mix with other ingredients
5. when cake is cool saturate cloth with rum and lay on top
