2 cups flour
4 tsp. Baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup shortening
1 cup buttermilk
1 Tbs. sugar

Tip: If you do not have buttermilk substitute 2 tsp. vinegar or lemon juice and mix with 1/2 cup of milk.

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
Crumble in shortening, add buttermilk.
Pat out to 1/2” thick and cut out biscuits.
Bake 400° - 12 –15 minutes.
