Combine ingredients in large mixing bowl:
6 large eggs
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. vegetable oil
1 stick margarine (melted and cooled)
1 tsp. lemon and 1/4 tsp. anise flavoring
(If using oil flavorings, cut amounts in half)
1/2 tsp. salt

Set pizzelle iron on medium and wait until hot. Combine ingredients and beat on slow speed until fluffy. Add 4 3/4 c. flour. Blend until moistened and smooth. (The batter will be about as thick as pudding.) Put one tablespoon of batter on each side of the pizzelle iron. Bake until golden
(about 1min. and 15 seconds). Remove and cool on baking rack. Can store in tins.

If a thinner pizzelle is desired, reduce the flour to 4 1/4 cups.
