1 cup butter softened
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
2 cups flour
2/3 cup cocoa powder
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
2 cups crushed candy canes
1 large jar of vanilla icing




Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350ºF
In large bowl; beat butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla until fluffy
In another bowl combine flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt
Stir in the butter mixture until well blended.
Drop rounded teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet.
Bake for 8 - 10 minutes or just until set. (the center of the cookies will be fudge like) let cool for 10 minutes. Heat icing in microwave for about 15 seconds stir well once cookies are cool, dip half the cookie in icing and sprinkle crushed candy canes on top of icing and let set. and enjoy
