Directions: Scald 1 c. of milk over medium heat and let cool. In bowl of electric mixer sprinkle yeast over warm water. Add 1 T. of sugar and 1/2 tsp. of salt. Let stand until foamy... about 8 to 10 minutes.

Beat in 1/2 c. sugar, eggs, and stick of softened butter. Add cooled milk.

Gradually add flour and remaining salt. Mix using dough hook until it forms ball and is soft and pliable. Cover bowl and let rise for 1 1/2 hours.

Lightly flour work surface and turn dough out. May want to knead a bit more. Press into a 10 x 13 inch shape. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle generously with sugar and cinnamon. Roll up carefully and slice into 1 1/2 inch thick pieces. Place on top of smear. Let rise again until double (1 1/2 hours).

Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes or until top is golden brown. Cool a few mintues in pan and then turn out onto platter. Enjoy!!
