1 cup water.
1/2 cup sugar
3/4 cup lemon juice
1 Table spoon pickling spice
1 1/2 teaspoon salt
3 bay leaves
1 medium onion sliced
4 8 oz salmon steaks

Directions:
Directions:
Combine water, sugar , lemon juice, pickling spice and bay leaves in a pot. Add sliced onions and salmon steaks. Marinate refrigerated overnight.
Simmer uncovered in marinade until steaks are tender and cooked all the way through, about 25-30 minutes. Serve cold.
