1/3 C. shortening
1 1/3 C. sugar
1/3 C. water
2 eggs
1 C. canned pumpkin
1 2/3 C. flour
3/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp allspice

Directions:
Directions:
Mix shortening, sugar, water and eggs; add pumpkin. Sift dry ingredients together and add to egg mixture; mix well. Pour into a greased large loaf pan. Bake at 350º for 1 hour.
