2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
1/2 lb. ground round
1/2 lb. Italian sausage (remove casing)
1 small chopped onion
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp dried basil
3 T. oil
6 cans water
Salt and pepper to taste

1 (1 lb.) pkg. lasagna noodles

Ricotta Filling:
2 lb. Ricotta cheese
1/2 cup grated Italian cheese
2 beaten eggs
2 T. chopped parsley
1/2 lb. Mozzarella cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Sauté onion in oil; add meats; brown lightly. Add tomato paste; cook 10 minutes., stirring constantly. Add 6 cans of water; gradually bring to a boil; add salt and basil. Cook 1 hour or until thickened. Mix Ricotta cheese, eggs, cheese, and parsley; blend until smooth. In a 9" x 13" baking pan, spoon some sauce in bottom of pan. Place layer of cooked lasagna; top with 1/2 of Ricotta mixture, then layer of meat sauce, next, layer of sliced or grated Mozzarella cheese; repeat. Last, spoon sauce over top. Sprinkle with grated cheese. Bake at 375 for about 1/2 hour.
