1 1/2 pounds ground meat
1/2 cup onion
1 (10 1/2 oz) can cream of mushroom soup
1 (10 1/2 oz) can vegetable soup
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 (16 oz) can diagonal-cut green beans, drained
1 cup cooked carrots
instant potatoes to make 3 cups
1 1/2 cups shredded mild American cheese

Directions:

Prepare potatoes according to package. Brown beef with onions. Drain off excess fat. Add soups, pepper, salt, beans and carrots. Pour into a 12x8 baking dish. Spoon mashed potatoes on top. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake at 350º for 20-30 minutes.
