3 tablespoons Margarine
32 large Marshmallows
1/2 teaspoon Green Food Color
1/2 teaspoon Vanilla
4 cups Cheerios cereal
green stringies or licorice, mini m and ms

Directions:
Directions:
Heat margarine in a 3 quart saucepan over medium low heat until melted. Turn heat to low and add in marshmallows. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until marshmallows are melted and mixture is smooth. Remove from heat and stir in the food color and vanilla. Fold in the cheerios until coated. Using buttered hands, very quickly shape cereal mixture into Christmas tree shapes on waxed paper by using 2/3 cupfuls at a time. Use m and m's for the ornaments and licorice for the garland.
