Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 c. flour
3/4 c. sugar
1/3 c. dry mustard
1/2 tsp. salt
vinegar
water

Directions:
Directions:
Mix dry ingredients together and add enough vinegar to make a thick paste. Bring water to a rolling boil. (there is no specific amount of water, it depends on how thick or thin you like your mustard. I usually boil about 2 cups). Slowly pour into paste, stirring as you pour until you have reached desired consistency. Make sure your water is boiling so as to cook the flour. If your flour does not cook well your may cook in double broiler until done.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
This recipe is well over 100 years old, my great-great grandmother Forsberg brought it over from Sweden when she came to the United States. This is great with pork or ham and especially good at Christmas time with beef stick and crackers. The longer you let it age the sweeter it will become. You can refrigerate this in a sealed container and it will keep for a year. Stir before using if has set for a while.
