4 slice bacon cut into 1/4 in strips
1 cup of onion chopped well
1 medium cabbage
1/4 cup of barbeque sauce
1 tbsn of butter
1 teaspoon of salt , pepper and garlic powder mixed well

Directions:
Directions:
Put your bacon and onion in a skillet and cook till it begins to brown. Drain both onion and bacon into a strainer and save drippings. make a ring out of aluminum foil about three inches in diameter. Cut out the core of the cabbage about three inches down towards the center and in a circle about three inches in diameter. Add the bacon and onion mix to the barbeque sauce. Prop up your cabbage on your formed ring of aluminum. Make sure cavitiy is upright.Place bacon and onion mixture and remaining drippings into this cavity. Add the butter as well. Make sure to reserve some of the drippings to brush the outside of the cabbage with. Set your grill on medium heat. Place your aluminum ring on that grill with cabbage on top. Cover and grill cabbage until tender. It will take about 1 to 1/2 hours. To serve peel off any charred leaves and discard . Cut cabbage wedges and serve.
