2 eggs
2/3 cups of milk
1 tbsn melted butter or shortening
1/2 cup of flour
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Beat eggs well and add milk and shortening. Sift flour with salt and sugar; add to the egg mixture. Using hand mixer beat till smooth. On a griddle heat salad oil or shortening and drop crepe batter to about 5 " rounds. Take your griddle and turn it so the batter runs thin and cook until golden then turn and when both sides are golden remove. Place on platter and fill with your favorite preserves and top with a sprinkle of confectionary sugar.
