1 lb hot or sweet Italian sausage
1 lb grated sharp cheddar
3 cups Bisquick
¾ cup water

Directions:
Directions:
Cook sausage in large skillet, breaking up meat w/ fork, until no longer pink, about 8 to 10 minutes. Drain off fat; spoon into large bowl. Cool completely. Add cheese, Bisquick, and water; mix with fork until just blended. Roll into 1 inch balls; place on large cookie sheet 2 inches apart. Bake in hot oven (400 degrees) for 12 to 15 minutes, or until puffed and browned. Cool on wire rack.

To freeze ahead: Bake and then cool completely. Freeze in single layers and place in plastic bag. To reheat: bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes.
