1 c. butter, softened
1/2 c. vegetable oil
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. flour
1/4 c. cocoa
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon (optional)
2 c. shredded zucchini
1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)
1/2 c. chocolate chips
1/2 c. brown sugar

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. In a mixing bowl, cream butter, oil, and sugar. Add eggs, milk, and vanilla; mix well. Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon; gradually add to creamed mixture. Stir in zucchini.
Spread into a greased 9 x 13 in. pan. Sprinkle with nuts, brown sugar, and chocolate chips. Press into cake a bit. Bake for 35-40 min. or until cake tests done.
