2 cups all purpose flour 1-1 lb. can (2 cups) pumpkin
2 tsp. baking powder 1 cup vegetable oil
1 tsp baking soda 1 1/2 cups kellogg's 40o/o Bran Flakes
1/2 tsp salt 1 6-oz pkg. (1 cup) Semi sweet choc chips
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon 1 cup coarsely cup chopped nuts
1/2 tsp ground cloves Confectioners sugar glaze (optional)
1/2 tsp allspice
1/4 tsp ginger
2 cups sugar
4 eggs

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together, flour, baking powder, soda, salt, spices and sugar set aside.
In large mixing bowl beat eggs until foamy, add pumpkin, vegetable oil, and
bran flakes; mix well. Add sifted dry ingredients, mixing only until combined.
stir in choc chips and nuts. Spread in ungreased 10x4 inch tube pan. Bake in moderate oven 350.F. about 1 hour and 10 minutes or until wooden pick inserted near center comes out clean. Cool completely before removing from pan. Place on cake plate; drizzle with confectioners sugar glaze if desired.
