4 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
4 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cloves
4 tsp. soda
1 quart jar of your older fruit (peaches work great)

Directions:
Directions:
Put all dry ingredients in a bowl. Pour fruit into a blender and liquify. Then pour into bowl and mix.

Grease and flour 2 - 9x13 cake pans. Pour equal amounts of batter into each pan.

Bake 325º 35-40 min.

Frost while warm

Lemon Glaze: Use powdered sugar and either frozen lemonade or lemon juice for tart flavor. Make runny and pour onto one of the warm cakes.

Caramel frosting: Simmer boil not a hard boil for 2 min. 4 tsp. margarine, 6 TBS. cream, and 3/4 c. brown sugar. When cooked, place pan with mixture in sink with cold water, so it's able to cool some. Now add 1 c. powdered sugar, and 1/2 tsp. vanilla (This will be very runny, no worries) Now pour onto the second warm cake.
