8 oz. Cheddar Cheese
2 Sticks Margarine
2 Cups Flour
2 Cups Rice Krispies
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Grate cheese. Mix cheese and margarine well, until creamy. Sift flour, salt, pepper. Combine with cheese mixture. Add Rice Krispies and knead until well mixed. Roll into one inch balls. Place balls on greased cookie sheets. Mash with a fork. Bake at 350 degrees until very light brown. When done place on brown paper bag to drain grease.

Advice from Laurette: These can be put out at a party. They are easier to make than the traditional Columbus Cheese Straws.

P.S. If you haven't figured it out yet, all people in our family are lactose intolerant. Some are intolerant of other things also, like olive oil. It's a fact.
