1 loaf french bread (13 to 16oz)
8 large eggs
2 cups half and half
2 cup milk
2 Tbs white sugar
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
dash salt

Topping Mixture
1/2lb butter
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 cup chopped pecans
2 Tbs light corn syrup
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
Slice bread into 1 inch slices. Arrange slices into buttered 9 x 13 baking dish. In large bowl combine eggs, half and half, milk, sugars, spices and beat until blended. Pour mixture over the bread slices making sure all is covered. Cover with foil and refrigerate over night. Next day mix topping mixture and combine well. Spread topping over bread and bake 40min till puffed and lightly golden at 350º
