14 ripe tomatoes
3 c. celery
7 medium onions

1/2 c. salt
4 1/2 c. sugar
2 c. white vinegar
2 T. mustard seed
2 green peppers

Directions:
Directions:
Cut up the tomatoes, celery, and onions and cover with 1/2 cup salt. Let stand in refrigerator overnight.

Next day, use a strainer to drain off the salt.

Mix together the sugar, white vinegar, and mustard seed and add to above. Add diced green peppers and let stand at room temperature for two hours. Put into jars and refrigerate.
