6 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 (14 oz) cans chicken broth
1/2 tsp white pepper
1 (8 oz) bag shredded American cheese
1 cup half and half

Directions:
Directions:
1. In slow cooker, combine potatoes, onion, chicken broth and white pepper
2. Cover and cook on LOW for 8 to 10 hours.
3. With potato masher, mash potatoes in slow cooker
4. About 1 hour before serving, stir in cheese and cream and continue to cook 1 more hour.
