6 bell peppers
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
small onion, chopped
2 cups cooked rice
1/3 cup chopped bell peppers
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
1 tsp.parsley
2 cans tomato sauce
1 cup Cheddar cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Cut tops off of bell peppers, wash and clean out seeds. Put them in boiling water and after water returns to boil, cook for 15 min.
While peppers are boiling, brown hamburger meat, onions, bell pepper(optional) & spices
The rice can be cooking at the same time .
Add hamburger mixture, rice, 1/3 cup of cheese and about 1/4 of 1 can of tomato sauce.
Stuff bell peppers with mixture and put in your baking dish. Pour remaining amount of tomato sauce on and around the peppers. Bake in preheated oven at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes. About 10 minutes before they are done put remaining cheese on top of each pepper.

Note: You can also use the Zatarins jambalaya and mix it with hamburger. You can also use a stuffing mix added to hamburger.
