1 large round steak
2 cans Cream of Mushroom soup
1 large onion cut into thick slices
1 can potatoes, drained
1 can sliced carrots, drained

Directions:
Directions:
Cut the steak into pieces to accommodate however many are in your family or just into individual serving pieces. Put half the sliced onion in bottom of crock pot. Sprinkle steak with salt and pepper on one side. Put half of the steak salted/peppered side down on onions. Sprinkle top with more salt and pepper. Pour half the soup over this layer. Place another layer of onions, then the steak and then the remainder of the soup. Pour drained potatoes and carrots over top. Cover and cook on low for 5 to 6 hours or on high for 3 to 4 hours. Cooking time will vary according to the amount of steak you use and the thickness. After 5 hours on low and 3 hours on high, test the meat for doneness. Cook an additional hour if needed.
