1/4 pound ground almonds
1/2 pound sweet butter
1/2 cup sugar
2 cups flour
3 tsp. vanilla
Powdered sugar for dusting

Directions:
Directions:
Cream Butter, add sugar and cream together. Add flour, almonds and vanilla. Mix till blended. It will form a soft ball.
To make cookies take a teaspoon size piece of dough and roll it between your hands to make a chubby snake and then form that into a crescent shape and place on cookie sheet. Continue with the rest of the dough. At this point you can freeze the uncooked cookies for baking later or bake now in a 350 degree oven until LIGHTLY browned. Dredge the warm cookies into powdered sugar and allow to cool on parchment paper.
