Crust
4 cups flour
1 1/2 cups shortening
1 tsp salt
2 Tbsp sugar

Filling
1 quart apples diced
1/4 cup water
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
2 Tbsp butter
Directions:
Directions:

Crust:
cut together until fine. Add 1 Tbsp vinegar and enough water to hold together. Roll out 1/2 of dough and put in and 8 x 12 pan

Filling:
Put on stove and cook until water is gone. Put on top of 1st crust.
Roll out 2nd crust and put on top of filling

Beat egg and brush on crust. Bake for approximately 45 minutes or until crust is nicely brown.

When baked and cooled drizzle confectioners sugar icing on top
