1 lb lean ground beef
1 lbs fresh mushrooms lg capped (stems removed) save stems
1/4 cup butter
1/2 chopped green pepper
2 tsp minced garlic
3 teaspoons dried parsley
1 tsp dried basil leaves, crushed
2/3 cup dry bread crumbs
1/3 cup soft bred crumbs
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Pre heat oven to 400º
Brown the ground beef and drain excess fat, then set aside
In a medium sauce pan over medium heat, melt the butter, and stir in the mushroom stems, green peppers, garlic, parsley and basil. Saute until peppers are soft.
In a large bowl add the ground beef, the saute mixture, and the dry and soft bread crumbs and the cheddar cheese.
Stuff the mushrooms making a mound on top.
Bake for 10 minutes
