2/3 cup sugar
1/3 cup shortening
2 eggs
3 tablespoons sour milk
1 cup mashed bananas
2 cups sifted flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 teaspoon soda

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together sugar and shortening, then add eggs.
Stir in:sour milk and mashed bananas.
Sift together flour, baking powder and soda, then add to creamed mixture:

Bake in 9x5x3 pan @ 350 for 60 minutes. Test for doneness.

I make sour milk by adding a bit of vinegar to regular milk.
