1 lb. sausage
1/2 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. dried oregano
2 - 14 oz. cans chicken broth
1 - 15 oz. can black beans, rinsed and drained
1 - 15 oz. can golden hominy, rinsed and drained
1 - 14 oz. can Mexican style stewed tomatoes
1 1/2 cups frozen loosely packed diced hash browns
1/2 cup chopped green pepper
1/3 cup chopped onion
1 clove garlic, minced

In large saucepan brown sausage, drain fat. Stir in the rest of the ingredients. Bring to a boil, reduce heat. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes or longer.
