1 c shortening

7 1/2 c flour

Directions:
Directions:
Whip shortening and boiling water until mixture is one. Add sugar, salt, cold water, eggs and yeast. Stir and add flour, mix or knead well. Cover with damp cloth and set in refrigerator. When ready to shape, place on floured board. Roll dough and cut rolls. Place on greased baking sheet. Let rise 2 to 3 hours. Bake at 400º about 8 minutes.

*If using fast rising yeast (Saf) you don't need to proof first. Be sure to add the 1/2 c. water.
*Dough will be sticky. You will think you need to add flour. If you do, it will make a tough roll.
*Without keeping dough damp, it will dry out.
*Great dough for cinnamon rolls.
