1/2 c. butter
2 c. sugar
6 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 can (5 3/4 oz.) evaporated milk
10 large marshmallows
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts ( optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Combine butter, chocolate chips and vanilla in bowl. Set aside. Place sugar, milk and marshmallows in pan. Bring to boil over medium heat, stirring frequently. Reduce heat to low, cook 6 minutes, stirring constantly. Pour hot mixture over ingredients in bowl. Beat with electric mixer until dull and thick. Add nuts, if using. Pour into slightly buttered 8" square pan. Refrigerate until firm.
