1 pkg. ready-to-use refrigerated pie crust (1/2 of 15 oz pkg.)
1 pkg. (8oz.) Cream Cheese, softened
2/3 cup sugar, divided
4 eggs, divided
2 tsp. vanilla, divided
1 cup light corn syrup
¼ cup butter, melted
1 ½ cups pecan pieces
4 squares semi-sweet chocolate, coarsely chopped

HEAT oven to 350’F. Roll pie crust on lightly flowered surface to 14”x10” rectangle. Place in 13”x9” pan, with pastry going ½” up the sides of the pan. In a bowl beat cream cheese, 1/3 cup sugar, 1 egg and 1 tsp. vanilla until well blended; then spread onto crust.
BEAT remaining eggs (3), sugar, and vanilla. Add corn syrup and butter; mix well. Stir in nuts and chocolate; pour over cream cheese layer.
BAKE 35 to 40 minutes or until center is set. Cool completely before cuitting into bars. Keep refrigerated. Makes 32 servings.
