1 Whole Chicken ( 3 to 3 1/2 lbs.)
1 Medium Onion
Salt and Plenty of Cayenne Pepper
1/2 Cup Fresh Chopped Garlic
1 Cup Diced Celery
1 Cup Diced Carrots
1 Cup Chopped Cabbage
1 Medium Diced Bell-Pepper
1 Cup Spaghetti

Rinse chicken well and remove all stuff that's in the cavity. Place in large pot, about 12 quarts. Put enough water to cover chicken and start boiling. Add salt and red pepper; as salty and hot as you can tolerate! After 15 minutes add onions,celery and garlic. continue to boil until chicken is well done. About 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Remove chicken and add the carrots and cook for 15 minutes, then add cabbage and bell- pepper. De- bone the chicken and dice it and return to pot. Now add spaghetti and let cook until done. about 10 minutes.Serve with crackers if you wish.

I put soup in single serving size containers and freeze. Very good for when some one is coming down with something. My youngest sister shared this recipe with me years ago. Someone shared with her.
