2 C granulated sugar
1 C light Karo syrup
1 C water
2 C raw peanuts, with skins
1 t vanilla
1 T butter
1 t baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together sugar, syrup and water and boil until makes a thread. Add peanuts (note: the skins make the color). Stir until syrup turns a light tan. Add remaining ingredients. The baking soda will cause the mixture to foam. Stir a little and pour onto a greased cookie sheet. Allow to cool and break into serving size pieces.
