1 Cup Light Brown Sugar
1 Cup White Sugar
1 Cup Evaporated Milk
1/8 Tsp. Salt
1/2 Stick Butter or Margarine
2 or 3 Cups Pecans, Parched
2 Tbsp Vanilla Extract
1/2 Tsp Baking Soda
**Milk, If Needed

Directions:
Directions:
Cook brown/white sugar, evaporated milk, salt and butter until it boils then add pecans. Cook until soft boil stage or 240º on a candy thermometer. Take off the fire and add vanilla extract and baking soda. If mixture is gritty, add one drop of milk at a time and stir until thoroughly mixed and creamy. Spoon out onto wax paper.
Let cool and serve.
