4-5 cups flour
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 Tablespoon sugar
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup lard
2 beaten eggs
3/4-1 cup milk
Filling:
1 1/2 pound lean ground beef
1/2 pound ground pork
1/2 teaspoon allspice
1/2 teaspoon salt
Dash of pepper
1 egg (beaten)

Crust:
Cut ingredients together with pastry blender. Work till ball forms. Let stand in a cool place. Do not refrigerate. Can be made the night ahead.
Filling:
Mix meat and spices and shape as link sausages. Roll out dough and form thin 4" squares. Place meat on dough and roll around to cover. Seal edges. Brush with beaten egg. Bake uncovered on a cookie sheet at 350 º for 35-40 minutes. Unbaked pigs can also be frozen for later use. Frozen pigs can be baked at 350º for 1 hour.
