YEAST BREAD
5 cups plain flour
1/2 tbsp salt
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup oil
2 cups milk
2 packages dry yeast

BITTOCK MIXTURE
2 lbs ground beef
1 large onion chopped
1/2 to 1 tbsp garlic salt

YEAST BREAD
Warm milk to lukewarm, sprinkle in yeast. Stir and let stand until yeast dissolves. Stir in oil. Mix together flour, salt and sugar. Combine flour mixture and liquid together. Knead for 5 minutes. With oil grease top and sides of dough in bowl. Cover and let rise to double its size. Knock down when ready to make desired product: rolls, loaf bread, bittocks, or monkey bread.

BITTOCK
brown beef in skillet until done. Add chopped onion and garlic salt to taste. Set aside until cool.



Pinch dough to roll size quantities and flatten in palm of hand. Fill with beef mixture and pinch together to close. Place on greased cookie sheet pinched side down. Bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.

Personal Notes:
I use yeast bread directions to make pepperoni rolls. Instead of bittock mixture substitute pizza sauce, pepperoni, shredded mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, etc and pinch closed. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and garlic salt before baking. Careful, if you fill with too much sauce and cheese it leaks out.
