4 c. sugar
2 sticks butter
1 (13 oz.) can evaporated milk
1 (12 oz.) package of semi-sweet chocolate chips (not milk chocolate)
32 large marshmallows
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 c. nuts, walnuts or pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Grease or butter a cookie sheet. Combine butter, sugar, and milk and cook on medium heat. Stir until hard boil, and then add marshmallows. Cook for approximately 10-15 minutes, stirring until the mixture forms a soft ball when dropped into cold water.
Remove from heat and add chocolate chips, vanilla extract, and nuts. Beat until mixture thickens, and pour onto buttered cookie sheet.
For peanut butter fudge: Substitute chocolate chips with Reese's peanut chips. Add ½ cup of chunky peanut butter when mixture is removed from the stove.
