Ingredients:  
3 c. zucchini, peeled and sliced into ½ inch pieces
1 ½ tsp lemon juice
¾ tsp cream of tartar (keeps the zucchini firm)
¼ c. sugar
¾ tsp cinnamon
sprinkle of nutmeg

Topping:
1 c. flour
1 c. sugar
½ c. margarine or butter

Directions:
Directions:
Cover sliced zucchini with water and boil 5 minutes; drain well. Add lemon juice. Mix cream of tartar, sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg and gently mix into zucchini. Place all in 8 x 8 inch round or square baking dish.
Topping: Mix flour and sugar together. Cut margarine into dry mix. Place on top of zucchini. Bake at 325 degrees for 45 minutes, until golden brown. Serve warm or cold. Add ice cream or milk if desired.
