3/4 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup molasses
1 beaten egg
2 cup flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoon soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon ginger

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugar. Add molasses and egg - Beat. Add dry ingredients and mix. Roll in small balls. Roll in sugar. Bake 8 to 10 minutes at 375º.
