1/4 cup all purpose flour
1 T black pepper
1/4 T garlic Powder
1 stick butter
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 to 1 1/2 lbs chopped steak
1 large white onion, chopped
1 T ketchup
1 T brown sugar
1 T dry mustard
1/4 cup water

Directions:
Directions:
In a bowl, combine the flour, pepper and garlic powder. Melt the butter in a large skillet over high heat. Add the oil and continue to heat until hot, approximately 325*. Dre3dge the steaks through the flour mixture and place them in the skillet. Add the onion and brown the steaks on both sides. Add the ketchup, brown sugar, mustard, and water. Reduce the heat to low and simmer, covered for about 20 minutes. Remove the lid and simmer for 15 minutes longer.
