Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 pint cultured sour cream
1/2 cube butter melted
4 eggs
1/3 cup sugar
1 cup buttermilk
4 cups flour (may need more)
3 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon soda

Directions:
Directions:
Beat eggs, butter and sour cream. Sift flour, soda and baking powder. Add to mixture. Add remainder of flour, enough to make a soft dough that can be rolled on a floured board and rolled about 1/8 inch thick. Cut into about 6x6 inch squares. Cut a slit and pull 1 corner thru slit. Fry in oil about 350º, turn when browned on one side and brown on the other. Roll in sugar. Will handle easier if chilled in refrigerator several hours or overnight.
