1 pot roast
2 large onions, sliced
1 pkg. baby carrots
Bunch of small red potatoes
2 cloves of garlic, minced
Can add any of the root vegetables (rutabaga, parsnip)
Seasoned salt, lemon pepper and onion powder

Directions:
Directions:
Season roast with salt, pepper and onion powder. Sear pot roast in a frying pan. Add a little oil to garlic and spread on both side of roast. Place pot roast in crock pot and add onion, carrot and small red potatoes. This is the time when other root vegetables can be added. Cook on high for 4-5 hours and low for 6-8 hours. For gravy add a cup of beef broth or water. If the gravy is not thick, place juice from crock pot in a small sauce pan, add a little flour and water to thicken the sauce.
